CNC Machine Operator / Set-Up

BUILD YOUR CAREER HERE! A Sidney Machine Shop/MFG is looking for an CNC Machine Operator / Set-Up @ $20-$23 per Hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC machines, performing quality checks on parts, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC tube bender machine to produce parts and components.
• Set up and program CNC tube bender machine to produce parts and components.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC tube benders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• CNC Machine Operator will inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
• Operate machines such as drill presses, manual mills, end formers, rollers, deburring equipment, & horizontal/vertical saws.
• Maintain records of production activities.
• Track and Record Work Hours to Shop Hours.
• Safety Conscience: Clean Equipment and Work Area after use

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Home Phone or Cell.

• Minimum 1 year of experience Operation and Set-up of CNC Machines.
• Minimum 1 year of Fabrication.

• Must be able to edit, troubleshoot & build CNC programs.
• Process improvement minded.
• Ability to Read, Comprehend and Interpret Blueprints & Drawings Required.
• Working knowledge of micrometers, calipers, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skill
