Injection Mold Process Technician

Process TechnicianFree Healthcare Clinic! Expanding Piqua Plastics Manufacturer has a 3rd shift, Injection Mold Machine Process Technician job available @ $24.00 per hour. Tech is responsible for verifying and ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and specifications. The Process Tech Machine Operator is responsible for all aspects of the injection mold processes including; changing out molds, completing setups, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of injection mold machine.

Hours: Sunday – Thursday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

(Tech will train on days for 3-4 weeks @ $21 per Hour.)

LIGHT INDUSTRIAL… A Clean & Well Ventilated Facility

Duties:

  • Maintain Injection Mold production machines and facility equipment.
  • Maintains auxiliary equipment, ie. mold temperature controller, material dryers, compressors, conveyors, and material loaders.
  • Troubleshoots, repairs/replaces, tests and adjusts parts.
  • Performs simple machinist skills.
  • Use of hand and power tools, electric meters, & material handling equipment.
  • Hands-on operation and maintenance of automated molding equipment.
  • Monitoring and performing settings adjustments.
  • Machine Operator performs mold sets/changes.
  • Starts up and shuts down machines, with proper lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Quality Control checks.
  • Daily PPP use and follows all safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Plastic Injection Molding Process Tech Experience and/or a Process Certification.
  • Certification, or Technical Degree Preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Home Phone or Cell
  • Your Own Transportation
  • Background Check with No Felony Conviction
  • Ability to Pass an Employment Drug Screen, Urinalysis or Saliva.
