Build your career here! A Piqua precision parts manufacturer has a Direct Hire, ISO Quality Assurance Tech opening on 1st shift @ $25 per hour, based on experience. This technician will supervise and perform all aspects of Quality inspection within an ISO Certified manufacturing environment.
Duties to include:
- Manage documentation within quality databases for the manufacturing facility.
- Perform conformity inspections.
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process .
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced .
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Complete 1st pc inspection for all areas (First Article Inspection)
- Complete final inspection paperwork prior to shipment.
- Coordinate daily special process requirements with outside vendors.
- Work with production team to troubleshoot and solve quality concerns.
- Continuously develop and implement quality improvement procedures.
- Utilize Root Cause Analysis for all quality issues.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop work instructions and train production employees how to use them.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Quality Assurance/Inspector Certification Required
- ISO 9001-2015 Quality Certification Required.
- Previous Precision Machining Quality Inspection Experience Required
- Previous QA inspection of Low/High Carbon Steels, Tools Steels, Stainless Steel, & Aluminum.
- Home Phone or Cell
- Valid Driver’s License
- Your Own Transportation
- A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction
- Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen
- Working knowledge of CMM, gauges, calipers and other measuring tools.
- Ability to write/edit CMM programs (Coordinated Measuring Machines)
- Familiar with metal treatment processes (ie. heat treatment, black oxide, anodizing, etc.)
- Able to read blueprints.
- Working knowledge of fits, GD&T, etc.
- Working knowledge of all machining processes, ie. lathe, mill, grinding, etc.
- Competent within Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Maintenance Experience
- Working knowledge of new document development/PPAP/FAI/etc. (Production Part Approval Process, First Article Inspection)
