Punch Press Operator

A Minster metal fabrication company has a 1st shift Punch Press Machine Operator job open @ $20-$21 per Hour, BOE + Premium Benefits. This job requires blueprint reading experience. The Ironworker Machine Operator will check in materials and run a punch press to produce custom parts for various projects.

Duties to include:

• Reading custom blueprints and pulling necessary materials.
• Maintaining and operating an Ironworker Punch/Shear Press.
• Cutting steel plate, angle, and rod to length, per blueprint.
• Operation of a Punch/Shear Press to punch holes in steel plate, per blueprint.
• Inspect finished goods manufactured from a custom blueprint.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe work area using 5s principles.
• Maintaining shop logs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen
• One Year of Punch Press Operator Experience Required.
• Able to Read Blueprints
• Quality Control Experience a PLUS
